An Unforgettable Romp Through Rajasthan’s Red-Hued Architectural Masterpiece.

Step right up ladies and gentlemen, and prepare to be dazzled by the grand spectacle that is Villa Palladio Jaipur! This exquisite oasis, nestled amidst Rajasthan’s arid landscape, transports you to an enchanting realm where Baroque meets Bollywood, the ancient Silk Route charm collides with modern luxury, and a riot of red awaits at every turn.

Paying homage to the region’s rich history while infusing it with a flair for the dramatic, Villa Palladio Jaipur is Rajasthan’s newest boutique property. It was born from the creative minds of Swiss-Italian ex-pat Barbara Miolini and her Danish collaborator, Marie-Anne Oudejans, who envisioned a boutique hotel to match the vibrant palette of their beloved Bar Palladio. The result is a stunning display of craft, colour, and story that leaves you breathless and yearning for more.

The adventure begins as you journey to Villa Palladio, located in the village of Sumel near Jaipur city. As the silhouette of the Aravalli hills looms in the distance, you catch a glimpse of the fortress-like walls of this 1980s structure. Suddenly, you find yourself in a realm of whimsy and wonder, feeling like royalty as you stroll through the lush grounds.

Behind these walls, a treasure trove of delights awaits. The fantastical red-hued décor, monochrome palettes, and jewel tones blend traditional haveli charm with contemporary fusion. This nine-room property is a celebration of local craftsmanship, aesthetics, and an atmosphere that sweeps you off your feet, immersing you in a universe of its own.

Villa Palladio harmoniously unites old and new, local and international elements. Rooms showcase canopied beds and traditional Rajasthani block-print motifs, while the main building features a high-ceilinged central hall adorned with carved jalis and stained-glass windows. Every inch of this boutique hotel is a testament to its creators’ artistry.

The enchanting gardens embody an Indo-Persian design, evoking paradisiacal realms of Islamic theology. As you meander through courtyards filled with the scent of jasmine and rose petals, the gentle murmur of bubbling fountains enhances the fairytale ambience.

The pièce de résistance, the Torre Belvedere rooms, marry quirky octagonal design with luxurious comfort. These former guards’ quarters now boast private terraces ideal for fairy-lit soirées. Indulge in mouthwatering culinary delights, from continental breakfasts on the picturesque covered balcony to Italian lunches and traditional Rajasthani thalis, all while marvelling at the breathtaking surrounding green hills.
