As LFW approaches, we take a walk down memory lane.
١. Adidas by Stella McCartney Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear

Stella McCartney’s Spring Adidas collection was launched at Linley Hall in Victoria, which was transformed overnight into “Stella’s Gym.” It was fully equipped and completed with Olympians such as Allyson Felix and Victoria Pendleton.
٢. Alexander McQueen Spring 2005

McQueen dominated every London Fashion Week show – and as hard as it was to pick one show, the chess game was unmatched. Sculpted jackets, Edwardian ruff necklines, and fairy tale dresses cast strong silhouettes that recalled the actual pieces of the game.
٣. JW Anderson Spring/Summer 2023
In Soho, on a packed Saturday night, Jonathan Anderson blew the audience away with his Vegas video gambling arcade show. The location was just around the corner from his flagship store on Wardour Street. Life is one big game, and JW Anderson plays it well.
٤. Chalayan Fall 2000 Ready-to-Wear

A coffee table was transformed into a dress as part of Hussein Chalayan’s Fall 2000 collection. The avant-garde designer staged a DIY fashion show with exceptional style, a collection that embodied art in motion.
٥. Mulberry Fall 2016

Johnny Coca’s debut at Mulberry was meant to reenergize the English heritage brand, and he did. Coca displayed the collection in the Guildhall, the largest medical hall in England, and displayed reflecting mirrors that resembled skyscrapers – merging the old and new.
