Zayed Exhibit for Rare Watches

The exhibition will highlight the very best from Rolex.

As part of The Abu Dhabi Winter Shopping Season’s exciting programming, Abu Dhabi Retail presents The Zayed Exhibit for Rare Watches from December 12 to 24, 2023, at Caliber Café, Abu Dhabi. Co-hosted by Caliber and Luxury Souq, it is a unique showcase of a rare collection of Rolex watches, specially crafted with the UAE logo through a bespoke made-to-order service that has been discontinued since the early 2000s.

With more than 100 one-of-a-kind pieces on display, the collection at Zayed Exhibit not only pays homage to the rich heritage and visionary leadership of the region, but also celebrates the timeless elegance of Rolex timepieces. The exhibition holds a remarkable value, exceeding AED 10,000,000. Featuring timepieces showcased at renowned auctions like Christie’s, the exhibit encompasses some of the world’s rarest and most sought-after watches, some with a value in the millions of dirhams. Each watch narrates a compelling story, contributing to the rich cultural legacy of the United Arab Emirates.

The exhibit will allow a wider audience of watch enthusiasts, collectors and connoisseurs to view the exceptional showcase of heritage and unique narratives behind each timepiece at the heart of Abu Dhabi. The Zayed Exhibit for Rare Watches is being held at Caliber Café, a space that merges the art of coffee-making with the world of horology that was founded by two watch enthusiasts. Over time, the café has become a luxury brand in its own right and includes a fine watches auction house, a café, and a speciality coffee roastery.
