١. Palestinian women artists take centre stage in Abu Dhabi’s Heritage, Memory & the Body exhibition

Heritage, Memory & The Body opens at Artbooth Gallery in Abu Dhabi on 18 September, presenting the works of four renowned Palestinian women artists: Rania Amoudi, Dina Matar, Fatima Abu Rumi, and Marwa Alnajja. Curated by Rula Dughman, the exhibition reflects on themes of femininity, nationhood, and identity, positioning the female figure as a symbol of memory, heritage, and resilience. ٢. Louis Vuitton opens second boutique at Dubai Duty Free in Terminal 3 concourse A
Louis Vuitton has opened its second boutique at Dubai Duty Free in Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 concourse A, which welcomed travellers on September 4, 2025. Following the launch of its first airport store in 2021, the new boutique marks another milestone for the French luxury house, blending its heritage with Dubai’s dynamic spirit. The space showcases Louis Vuitton’s full range, from ready-to-wear and leather goods to shoes and accessories, all within an elevated shopping environment designed to highlight the Maison’s craftsmanship. With two entrances leading to women’s, travel, and men’s collections, the store also features a striking façade with a layered mesh design that creates the LV flower motif. Located in Zone 5 at the landing of the elevators to the embarking gates, the boutique adds to Dubai Duty Free’s expanding luxury retail landscape.
٣. LIMÉ expands Middle East presence with two new UAE Stores and online launch in Saudi Arabia and Qatar

LIMÉ has announced a major expansion in the Middle East with the opening of two new stores in the UAE and the launch of its e-commerce services in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Since its regional debut in 2023, the brand has quickly gained momentum, bringing its modern and minimalist fashion style to a wider audience. The new Dubai boutique, located on the second floor of Palm Jumeirah Mall, spans 445 square meters and features a striking façade with pivoting doors and stone pilasters. Later this month, a second store will open in Al Ain’s Al Jimi Mall, spanning 642 square meters, and showcasing LIMÉ’s latest interior concept with textured finishes, sculptural displays, and dedicated rooms for footwear and lingerie. ٤. France marks 75 Years Of Ramses Wissa Wassef Atelier with a rare Tapestry Exhibition

France is celebrating 75 years of the Ramses Wissa Wassef Atelier with a special exhibition of rare Egyptian tapestries, returning to the country for the first time in over three decades. Curated by Egyptian art history student Baher Moufid, the showcase features five woven scenes that capture everyday life in Egypt and the passing of Harrania’s weaving traditions through generations. Highlights include depictions of childbirth, a wedding mass, and views of Harrania, with works by pioneering weaver Garia and her daughter Nagla. The pieces are on loan from leading institutions such as the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, the British Museum, and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Paris exhibition runs alongside a parallel showcase in Berlin, also dedicated to Harrania’s rich textile heritage.
٥.. Dubai Design Week returns in November with global showcases and regional talent

Dubai Design Week will return for its 11th edition from 4 to 9 November 2025, held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3). The festival will feature more than 1,000 designers and brands from around the world, presenting exhibitions, installations, talks, and live events. Highlights include the Urban Commissions competition, awarded this year to UAE-based studio Some Kind of Practice, and the return of Downtown Design, the region’s leading fair for contemporary design. Over 30 large-scale installations, limited-edition showcases at Editions, the annual Abwab programme, and the d3 Architecture Exhibition in collaboration with RIBA will also be part of the programme. With workshops, masterclasses, and the popular weekend Marketplace, Dubai Design Week continues to spotlight global and regional talent while reinforcing the city’s role as a hub for creativity and cultural exchange.
٦. Loro Piana unveils Loro Highlands collection inspired by Scottish Landscapes
Loro Piana has introduced the Loro Highlands Capsule Collection, a line that draws inspiration from Scotland’s landscapes and castles. ٨.Met Opera to bring world-class operas to Riyadh for five years

Saudi Arabia is set to welcome world-class opera as the Metropolitan Opera (Met) partners with the Saudi Music Commission and the Royal Diriyah Opera House. Under a new five-year agreement, the Met will perform in Riyadh each winter for three-week periods, staging full operas and concerts. The collaboration also includes training programs for Saudi talent, from singers to theatre artisans, and the debut of a brand-new global opera production. The Royal Diriyah Opera House, currently under construction near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At Turaif, is designed by Snøhetta with local expertise from Syn Architects. Its mudbrick-inspired design and Nadji-influenced elements aim to blend traditional heritage with modern grandeur, creating a striking new cultural landmark in Diriyah.
