KHAMSA For the Culture is a series where we ask readers of KHAMSA questions pertaining to their recommended movies, songs, TV series, and other such cultural content we consume on a daily basis. The range in recommendations is what we are looking for, allowing our readers to add a wide variety of entries to their lists.

For this edition, KHAMSA reached out to Nour Saliba (@noursalippa on Instagram) an artist, model, copywriter, and astrologer, she weaves together art, mental health, healing, and humor in everything she does. Based in Lebanon, her multidisciplinary work feels like a deep, colorful dive into the human experience — the beautiful, the messy, and the magical.

١. If you had to recommend one TV show to the world, which one would it be?

That’s an easy one! The Midnight Gospel is one of the best series I’ve ever seen.

It’s an animated series about Clancy, who uses a multiverse simulator to travel to different bizarre worlds and interview their inhabitants for his podcast. What makes it so powerful is the contrast between its trippy, colorful, mind-bending visuals and the deeply honest, emotional conversations. The show explores everything from death and addiction to forgiveness, spirituality, and the meaning of life. It’s weird, profound, and unforgettable.

I have a tattoo of one of the characters on my arm! That’s how much it touched me. Highly recommend.

٢. Which one song would you say is ‘your song’?

That’s a really hard question because I have so many songs I’m obsessed with… but a song I would say is ‘my song’ is definitely ‘Intergalactic Janet’ by Ley Soul, about a girl from another planet.

I think if someone were to discover how many times I’ve heard it they would send help.

٣. Which one book are you taking with you to your lone island getaway?

It’s a pretty big book so I wanna see how it’s going to fit in my suitcase with my other stuff, but my husband recently got me a book I’ve been wanting for a long time, ‘The Voynich Manuscript’ an illustrated codex that has never been successfully deciphered.

٤. If your phone had space for only one podcast, which one are you downloading?

I love unwinding while listening to Reddit stories. They’re light, fun, and sometimes totally jaw-dropping. My go-to podcast for this is ‘Two Hot Takes’ if you’re on the go.

٥. If you had the choice to preserve one film out of all in an eternal archive, which one are you choosing?

‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ really left a mark on me. I’m obsessed with the unseen layers of reality, and weirdly, I’ve had moments where life felt like a glitch in the matrix.
