The countdown is on for Sole DXB 2024! As the region’s ultimate celebration of contemporary culture prepares to take over Dubai from December 13th to 15th. This year’s edition promises an elevated experience with a dynamic fusion of music, fashion, art, and innovation.

Sole DXB X Dazed Talks Programme

The Sole DXB x Dazed Talks Programme, running from December 13–15, 2024, brings together global creatives to discuss architecture, music, fashion, and culture. Highlights include “Beyond Brick and Mortar” by Sara Bokr, “The Only Good System is a Sound System” with Uncle Ronnie and Gabre Selassie, and Patta Academy’s “Each One Teach One.”

Artists like Sid Sriram, Santi, Akala, and Paria Farzaneh will explore themes of identity and tradition. This collaboration between Sole DXB and Dazed MENA creates a platform for meaningful cultural conversations.

The Sole INVITATIONAL Basketball Tournament

The Sole INVITATIONAL returns with three days of intense basketball, featuring 14 teams across Men’s, Women’s All-Star, and Boys’ Under-19 divisions. Friday sets the pace with pool-stage games, while Saturday adds a spotlight on the Women’s All-Star Game and a youth-focused 10U Academy session. The tournament wraps up on Sunday with semifinals and finals, bringing the weekend to a dramatic close. A mix of talent, competition, and community makes this event a celebration of the game at every level.

The Sole DXB Skatepark

The Sole DXB Skatepark is back, giving skaters a chance to show off their skills and vibe with the skateboarding community. With high-energy contests, challenging obstacles, and open sessions to practice and connect, it’s a space where skaters and spectators can share the love of the sport.

Sneaker Swap & Thrift Market at Sole DXB

The Sole DXB Sneaker Swap & Vintage Thrift Market is back, bringing together 13 curated vendors like Spartans Sneakers, WW Sneaker Seller, and 80’s Thrift. It’s the go-to spot for collectors and thrifters to buy, sell, and trade rare finds and hidden gems. Open all weekend, it’s a hub for connecting with the sneaker and vintage community.

Power Horse Dance Programme at Sole DXB

Power Horse and Sole DXB are teaming up for two days of dance and music. The lineup includes Set Killer Rounds, where dancers face off in intense battles, and an Open Dance Session for freestyle moves and shared energy. Expect beats ranging from hip-hop to amapiano and baile funk, bringing rhythm to every corner of the floor.

Spotlight by d3

Dubai Design District (d3) and Sole DXB are teaming up for Spotlight by d3, a platform celebrating independent fashion and lifestyle brands with a focus on community and innovation. The showcase brings together unique collections from emerging designers across the UAE, UK, US, and beyond, highlighting creativity rooted in storytelling and cultural heritage.

Featured brands include Azra Dubai, blending bold modesty with activewear; Barzakh, a genderless jewellery label with a sustainable edge; Dastaangoi, known for evocative, regionally inspired scented candles; and Peace Venue, debuting a mixed-media collection. Also on display are BW, merging music, art, and fashion; Suez Studio’s heritage textiles turned into garments; and Park Hill Clothing’s Staten Island-inspired styles, among others.

Immersive Brand Activations

Sonos: House of Sound Experience

Sonos makes its Sole DXB debut this year with the Sonos House of Sound, blending music, culture, and style. Festivalgoers can explore curated vinyl, Middle Eastern-inspired playlists, and hands-on workshops while checking out the Sonos Ace headphones and the newly launched colours of the Roam 2 speaker, featuring Olive, Wave, and Sunset. Featuring Dolby Atmos and active noise cancellation, the Ace headphones and Sonos’ high-fidelity sound create an immersive listening experience rooted in local creativity.

ASICS

ASICS is teaming up with HIDDEN NY for the first time at Sole DXB to launch the GEL-VENTURE™ 6 SHIELD in the Middle East. The shoe, inspired by gemstone labs and archaeology, features turquoise stripes, reflective details, and a map on the inside. At the booth, visitors can get hands-on with activities like fossil printing and screen printing. After its global debut at ComplexCon, this launch shows ASICS’ focus on creativity and street culture.

Adidas Originals

Adidas Originals is making a statement at Sole DXB 2024 with the launch of the CLOT Dress Capsule by Edison Chen. Blending classic streetwear with refined Italian leather details, the collection gives a fresh twist to iconic designs. To celebrate, All Eyes on East, a film highlighting the influence of Eastern culture on global fashion, will be shown. Festival-goers can shop the capsule and get custom tailoring at the Adidas booth. Plus, expect live performances from local and regional artists, adding extra flair to the event.

Diesel World’s Biggest Street Art Collective at Sole DXB

Diesel is bringing a massive street art project to Sole DXB 2024, inviting artists of all skill levels to contribute to a collaborative masterpiece. Visitors can join in at the Diesel booth to add their creativity to the world’s largest street art canvas, which will be revealed during the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show. Diesel will also feature Egyptian rapper Marwan Pablo on the main stage on December 14th, further celebrating culture and creativity.

25hours Hotel One Central at Sole DXB

25 hours Hotel One Central brings its signature energy to Sole DXB, continuing its tradition of blending community and creativity. Known for its unique vibe, the hotel has been a key partner of the festival, offering a creative space where artists, teams, and festival-goers can connect. For 2024, the 25-hour booth will channel the hotel’s distinct style with a dynamic mix of past and future elements. The space will offer a relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy a mix of ambience and food while soaking in the cool, collaborative vibe. It’s all about enjoying the moment and feeling at home.

Deliveroo x FIX at Sole DXB Write-up

FIX Dessert Chocolatier and Deliveroo brings a unique activation to Sole DXB with the SOLED OUT Xperience. This interactive pop-up blends Arabic heritage, luxury, and contemporary design, inspired by FIX’s signature chocolate flavours. Visitors can treat themselves to their favourite bars, snag exclusive merchandise, and get custom bags from live artists. With vibrant photo ops, DJ sets, and a carefully curated atmosphere, FIX’s debut at Sole DXB will surely be a highlight of the festival.

Claudette collaborates with Sole DXB 2024

Claudette is a fashion label founded in New York and now based in Kuwait, with a strong focus on community and mental health. The brand, known for its premium apparel featuring powerful visuals and messages, promotes cultural connection and global unity. Having showcased at major events like Art Basel in Miami and Shoreditch in London, Claudette continues to inspire a sense of belonging and shared experiences in the fashion world. At Sole DXB 2024, the brand will further its mission of bridging cultures and fostering conversations through its distinctive designs.

QASIMI

QASIMI debuts at Sole DXB 2024 with three exclusive collections that fuse Emirati culture and modern design. Highlights include the Rising Sun Capsule, Palestine Collection, and a sustainable collaboration with Buzigahill. Available only at the festival and later on qasimi.com, these pieces emphasize culture, artistry, and sustainability.

Noon Minutes x Ice-Cream Project

Noon Minutes brings its viral cream project to Sole DXB 2024, offering creative spins on beloved regional flavours. From Chips Oman to Heinz Tomato Ketchup, each ice cream is a playful blend of local favourites and global inspirations. Guests can enjoy this unique take on dessert culture at the festival, celebrating innovation and local connections.

CANCRO x Sole DXB

CANCRO makes its Middle East debut as the Official Water Partner at Sole DXB 2024. Known for its enhanced hydration benefits, it will offer premium water throughout the festival, including in VIP areas. Attendees can enjoy interactive activations like the Hydration Trivia Challenge for a chance to win a three-month supply. CANCRO launches online in December 2024, with a new standard of hydration and wellness for the region.

The beloved festival is celebrating its 12th anniversary with exciting upgrades, including a second stage, extended festival hours from 3 PM to 2 AM, and a diverse lineup of music acts across genres like hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and dance. Along with fashion, art, food, and beverage brands, the festival will feature curated talks, sports showcases, and interactive experiences for global creators and fans to connect.

Sole DXB Off Circuit returns with cultural events across Dubai, such as The Life of an Itinerant Through a Pinhole photography exhibition at Gulf Photo Plus (Dec 4–31), and duo exhibitions at Efie Gallery(Dec 9–21). Early risers can enjoy the Gaijin x Sole DXB Ride on (Dec 13), while water sports fans can try sailing with Wind Rises(Dec 8). The week also offers wellness events, a book club discussion, and workshops with Patta Academy. Film buffs can attend a special screening celebrating French Electronica, and music lovers can enjoy The Art of Sound vinyl session(Dec 10).
