Creators from all over the region gathered in Riyadh in September for the first TikTok Creator Summit. This event gave creators a chance to share ideas about content strategy, try new formats like longer videos, talk about trends, and learn from each other. They also got to clear up common misunderstandings about TikTok and explore tools to help them make money, all aimed at boosting their success. The summit included panels, workshops, and performances designed to inspire and educate.

Saudi actor and TV host Faisal Alzahrani led the event, where creative talents from the region exchanged ideas and made new connections. The highlight of the event was a live performance by popular musician Eisa Abdulla, celebrating the region’s diverse talent.
Sessions at the summit provided creators with useful tips to improve their content and grow their audiences. One panel featured popular creators Khalid Al Ameri, a top content creator, and Noel Robinson, a famous dancer with 41 million followers. They shared their experiences and offered advice on engaging with different viewers. Haya Barghout, TikTok’s Head of Creator, also talked about how to build a strong presence and meaningful connections within the community.

The summit also showcased TikTok’s tools for making money, showing how creators in the region have turned their passions into steady income. Programs like TikTok Creator Marketplace (TTCM) and TikTok Live help creators earn money and build lasting careers while engaging their audience.
“We are excited to host the TikTok MENA Creator Summit in Riyadh this year to celebrate the creativity of our community. Being a creator is about more than just making videos; it’s about inspiring, connecting, and shaping culture across borders. We are committed to supporting creators throughout their journey and helping them succeed in every way.”
– Kinda Ibrahim, TikTok’s Regional General Manager

After the summit, TikTok hosted sessions with partners, including a panel led by CAF’s Head of Communications and the TikTok team. They discussed how to balance creativity with guidelines, protect intellectual property, and use cultural moments to create content. A presentation called “The Evolution of #WhatToWatch” showed how companies like MBC Group and WatchIt have used TikTok to grow their international reach, with strategies that creators can use to succeed.
The TikTok Summit in Riyadh was an important moment for the region’s creative community, encouraging talent, innovation, and collaboration. As TikTok evolves, it stays committed to giving creators the tools and support they need to succeed in the digital world, shaping the future of content creation and strengthening the creative ecosystem in MENA.
