Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet introduces three unique timepieces crafted as a tribute to the Middle East region. These special editions, created with input from collectors in the United Arab Emirates, came to life during a “Create the Extraordinary” workshop held in Dubai in June 2022. Each watch proudly bears a “Special Edition” and “Create the Extraordinary” engraving on its caseback, reflecting the brand’s blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. This collection celebrates the spirit of innovation and collaboration that has defined Audemars Piguet for generations.
A New Look for the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin

This special edition Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin features titanium and Audemars Piguet’s Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG) for the bezel, caseback, and bracelet studs, which is a first for this model. BMG’s palladium base gives it extra durability and shine, contrasting with the titanium case. The ivory dial, with Hindu-Arabic numerals and rhodium subdials, also includes a moon-phase display. Powered by the ultra-thin Calibre 5133, this watch merges elegant design with cutting-edge technology.
Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked in White Ceramic

This 41 mm Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked edition is crafted entirely in white ceramic, including the case and bracelet—a first for Audemars Piguet. A blue inner bezel adds contrast, framing the rhodium-toned openworked movement. White gold hour markers and luminescent black Royal Oak hands stand out on the dial for clear visibility. Powered by the selfwinding Calibre 3132 with a unique double balance wheel for greater accuracy and stability, the watch’s rhodium-toned oscillating weight is visible through the sapphire caseback, matching the movement’s look.
