The brand unveils its new suncare collection, Dior Solar.

In the summer months, your skincare routine might need an adjustment. If you live in Dubai or anywhere in the GCC, you know you need more SPF. However, we know that you don’t want to look pale and washed out. With Dior Solar and Rosy Glow Blush, you can achieve a sun-kissed glow and fresh radiance all summer. These beauty must-haves offer the ideal balance of sun protection and radiance to enhance your natural beauty.

Step One: Protect Your Skin While Elevating the Tan

As part of its new suncare collection, Dior Solar, Dior presents a range of essential products inspired by the renowned Eden Roc Hotel and the French Riviera as a whole. For those who want sun-kissed skin without compromising on safety, Dior Solar offers them both protection and enhancement. Additionally, the collection provides complete sun protection for the hair as well. If you prefer your products to be as natural as possible, Dior Solar is the collection for you since it is formulated with 90% natural ingredients.

With its hydrating, glowy formula, the Sublimating Oil will enhance the look of your skin and hair – especially if you’ve been basking in the sun already. Due to its pearly, shimmery texture, the oil provides a radiant glow and enhances the tan with each application.

As for Self-Tanning Gel, the gel tans the skin gradually, resulting in revitalised skin with a satiny, luminous glow. You can build up to the colour you want gradually by applying the product several times to the skin. Trust us; you won’t look like a carrot with this product – it’s disaster-proof.

And to seal the deal, the After-Sun Balm. Formulated to hydrate the skin after prolonged sun exposure (crucial for burnt or healing skin), it has a fresh and calming texture that immediately reduces skin discomfort. It also smells incredible.

The SPF-containing products in this collection are Protective Cremes SPF 30 and 50, Protective Milk SPF 30, and Protective Oil SPF 15. If you’re wondering, all oils can be used on the hair.

Step Two: Get The Natural-Flushed Cheeks

It’s no secret that the Dior Rosy Glow Blush is a TikTok favourite. With its pH-adjusting custom blush, you couldn’t scroll through #Beautytok without spotting the pink powder. Under Peter Philips’ direction this year, Dior has revamped the iconic Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation with an updated formula created with 94% natural ingredients. In addition, he has reinvented the iconic Rosy Glow blush in new shades to suit various skin tones.

The major feature of the Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush is the way it adapts to your skin tone. With its “colour reviver” and eosin ingredient, the product reacts with the skin’s pH and humidity levels to create a customised flush.

In addition to the two original shades, 001 Pink and 004 Coral, four new shades were introduced this year: 006 Berry, a deep plum; 012 Rosewood, a warm pink; 015 Cherry, a subtle red; and 020 Mahogany, a deep warm brown.

Each blush shade complements the equally popular Dior Lip Glow Oils – which leads us to our final step.

Step Three: Seal The Look With A Gloss

For years, matte lips have dominated the trend cycle, but now high-shine lips are making a comeback. In 2020, Dior launched its Lip Glow Oil and has dominated glossy charts ever since, thanks to its high-quality formula and feel.

The Lip Glow Oil’s non-sticky formula contains ingredients such as cherry oil, which is rich in vitamin A and boosts hydration. And much like the blush, it uses a colour reviving technology, which creates a customized glossy shade based on the lips’ moisture level. What more could one ask for?
