Luxury Parisian brand Alaïa has announced a partnership with the exclusive Rare Books Paris bookstore this winter. Located in a private residence, Rare Books is a haven dedicated to limited edition, rare, and out-of-print book volumes, as well as the most sought-after fashion and art publications in the world. From November 27 to January 4, Alaïa will welcome Rare Books Paris to its boutiques on rue de Marignan in Paris and New Bond Street in London.
A unique choice of books, carefully selected by Pieter Mulier, creative director of Alaïa, will be available in these two pop-up stores, as well as a customizable brand bookmark. Made of pure leather and inspired by the House’s signatures, this new iconic object was designed for collectors and book lovers.
“Books lead us to beauty. They are our best allies, and our most precious legacies. One of the objects that I own and cherish the most is a book on Le Corbusier which belonged to my grandfather.”– Pieter Mulier, creative director of Alaïa
This collaboration perpetuates the link between Alaïa and other artistic fields as a creative nod to the unique vision of the House and its philosophy. The new pop-ups are now open to the public and are must-visits if you are a fashionable bibliophile.
