Hermès is pleased to invite the public to discover its spirit of innovation, creation and imagination with Le Monde d’Hermès magazine. Presented in Abu Dhabi from February 1-4, 2024, at the eponymous kiosk open to all, Le Monde d’Hermès offers readers the opportunity to discover, through words and pictures, the collections and conversations that illustrate the creativity, curiosity and diversity of the world of Hermès.
Poetically infused to astonish its readers, the kiosk stands on the seaside bank of Al Maryah Island, just in front of the Galleria Mall. Cheerfully greeted by Mr. Kiosk, visitors can receive a memorable, unique craft, whilst enjoying the option of different amusing games. In a playful and captivating ambience, with musical acts, guests will be shared with a botanical treat from paradise, along with the latest issue of the magazine, upon their departure.
The first Le Monde d’Hermès kiosk, inspired by the iconic Parisian news-stands, opened its doors in Prague in autumn 2021. As the start of a series of welcoming and engaging events, last year it travelled to Kuwait in May, Strasbourg in June, Lisbon and London in September and Istanbul and Hanoi in October. The kiosk also made stops in Tokyo, San Francisco, London, Hong-Kong, Chengdu, Dubai and Toronto before returning for a second year to the UAE, specifically to Abu Dhabi.
An editor-in-chief and an artistic director are invited to create two issues per year with Hermès’ teams, who collaborate each season with carefully selected writers, illustrators and photographers. Driven by the imaginary world nourished by the annual theme, they all imbue Le Monde d’Hermès with their talent and ingenuity.
This edition has been designed to surprise readers and pique their curiosity while presenting the new
collections by Hermès’ sixteen métiers. Created in 1973, Le Monde d’Hermès is a bi-annual magazine with a print run of 600,000 copies, published in ten languages.
Le Monde d’Hermès Kiosk will be open from February 1-4, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, at The Promenade, Galleria Mall. Entry is free.
