She walks like the wind — free, light, limitless.

For Spring-Summer 2025, CHANEL captures a feeling rather than a season. A softness that doesn’t apologize. A confidence that doesn’t need to shout. There’s power in ease, and beauty in the refusal to be contained. In this editorial, brought to life by KHAMSA, we step into the stillness of Mleiha’s desert plains — a raw, infinite stage where freedom takes shape in silhouette, shadow, and sunflare.

A presence more than a posture. A rhythm more than a twirl.

The clothes speak in motion. Capes that lift with the breeze. Skirts that split like a dune line. Threads of light stitched into denim, catching the desert glow like a mirage. CHANEL’s iconic tweed reimagined in washed pastels — sky blue, golden beige, a whisper of blush — feels like a memory of daybreak. Delicate, but never fragile.

Each look is a contradiction made whole. Structure softened. Femininity sharpened. A black dress worn like armor and sheer panels like breath. There’s a quiet defiance in the way she moves — like a woman who knows exactly who she is, and no longer feels the need to explain herself.

“The collection is a tribute to women who freed themselves from the cumbersome gaze of society, just like Gabrielle Chanel.”

This is femininity as flight — soaring, shifting, self-defined. From featherlight textures to sculptural cuts, from boyish tailoring to sensual transparency, the collection celebrates escape. Not from a place, but from expectation. From being told what to wear, how to be, how to stay small. Instead, she expands.

“We think of music-hall artist and literary figure Colette, to whom Gabrielle Chanel was a close friend, the garçonne movement that marked the Roaring Twenties, but also the aviatrixes who spoke out and helped change mentalities.”

“In revisiting the House codes – the suit and the little black dress, tweed and jersey, the quilted bag and the two-tone shoes – the Creation Studio presents a Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection in the colours of day, of night and the ever-changing sky.”

This is the woman CHANEL dresses: one who reclaims softness as strength, and elegance as resistance. A woman who doesn’t perform beauty, but inhabits it.

In this world, light is not just an element. It’s an attitude. It bends to her. It belongs to her.

And CHANEL, once again, becomes more than a fashion house. It becomes a vessel for liberation.
