For this KHAMSA powered editorial with CHANEL Les 9 Ombres, we wanted joy you can feel, and almost touch through a screen. Think breezy hair, laughing eyes, bold shapes & textures, and pigments that glow like sunlight on old Polaroids.
The face isn’t covered; it’s uncaged. Garden green eyeshadow washes the lids, ocean blue on the lashes turns every blink into a cheeky wink, and sunlit acid yellows in the inner corner is the secret she keeps and shares at the same time.

Think of it as color playtime for adults. Pigments are mixed, smudged, tapped with fingers. Mattes met metallics, satin slid into shimmer. No rules, just rhythm. The mood was cute, fresh and slightly mischievous with makeup you can feel moving when you smile.

The COMETES COLLECTIVE set the tone with three limited-edition harmonies: The Daring Muse by Ammy Drammeh (glam greens, reds, precious metals), The New Singular by Cecile Paravina (art-school brights and mineral calm), and The Space Traveler by Valentina Li (cosmic blues, lilacs, a flash of gold-green).
We borrowed their boldness and kept it cute: shimmer here, shadow there, and suddenly the eyes spark.
Each frame feels like a memory and the joy of the moment at the same time. Every look said the same thing in a different way: this isn’t makeup to hide behind; it’s color that reveals the inner child, the brave heart, the girl who doodled stars on her notebook and still believes in them.
