Crocs

Crocs made sure to dazzle the London runway

Crocs teamed up with Irish Fashion designer, Simone Rocha, to showcase their latest footwear collection. It was an unexpected collaboration to witness, but one that certainly stole the show. The exposure put many eyes on the brand and their future aspirations.

The standard Crocs shoes were adorned with decorations and jewellery for Rocha’s appearance. The brand spiced up their black, white, and transparent variants of the foam Classic Clogs with a mix of pearls and the designer’s own floral crystals. One of their newest shoes, the white heeled platform clog, was also given the Rocha treatment, coming with a lot of pearls and flowers to make it look like bridal footwear.

For those looking for a more aggressive and edgier look, Crocs offered their platform-soled clog with an alternate look. This one came with black crystal flowers circling glossy matching beads. The dark treatment continued with another shoe getting cord toggle ties, an upper textile lining, and flower patterns.

Crocs has been on the rise since 2020. This is the latest in a series of high-profile collaborations the brand has been orchestrating for years, including the ones with Balenciaga and Kurt Geiger. Indeed, even the foreign Secretary of Mexico showed up to the G20 wearing a pair, which highlights how it has become a pop culture sensation.

The shoes’ appearance on the London Fashion Week’s runway was critically acclaimed by enthusiasts and casuals alike. The increased popularity is sure to increase the brand’s stock and popularity among the masses. It remains to be seen when and where Rocha’s special-edition Crocs will be sold, but judging by how amazing they looked, they could make for great investments.
