British casual-wear brand Fred Perry collaborates with Iraqi artist Marwan Shakarchi, transforming their iconic shirt into a medium for creative expression in their latest collaboration. Shakarchi, based in Dubai, is renowned as an illustrator and muralist, notably recognized for his iconic cloud motif that has become synonymous with the Myneandyours street-art movement.
Marwan Shakarchi, born in the UK in 1984 to Iraqi immigrants, gained fame for creating the iconic cloud symbol in 2008, representing the Myneandyours art movement. After interning with artist Shepard Fairey in 2009, he moved to Dubai, where his background in Economics and Visual Communication helped him engage the public through tailored messaging and a recognizable aesthetic, leading to diverse projects in public murals, digital illustration, and fine art.
His unique artistic approach, deeply rooted in street culture, resonates harmoniously with Fred Perry’s brand identity, resulting in a collaboration that seamlessly blends fashion and art in a captivating exchange.

The partnership showcases three Fred Perry Shirts, each adorned with unique cloud and lightning symbols, presented through embroidered patches on the chest and back.
