Gucci

Gucci spotlights the wonders of social connections.

Gucci presents a new campaign dedicated to the House’s travel collections, a testament to its rich heritage and everlasting savoir-faire. Global Brand Ambassador and actress Ni Ni and actor Chang Chen, whose genuine friendship seamlessly transcends from real life to the set, are the protagonists of a narrative that celebrates relationships, inviting the viewer in a world where meaningful connections and shared experiences take precedence, encapsulating the spirit of Gucci’s community.

Envisioned by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno the new Gucci Valigeria campaign stands as a celebration of love and the broader concept of family whereby the most valuable connections are the ones we choose to keep close. Captured in an airport, a place of departures and arrivals, the two friends cross paths in a moment of immediate emotion highlighting the special kind of familiar beauty that travel brings, especially when you find yourself beside a friend that is like family.

Ni Ni and Chang Chen carry travel items from the Gucci Savoy collection, echoing the House’s century spanning vision of travel though historic craftsmanship. This is a narrative that continues to land in the contemporary under the vision of Creative Director Sabato De Sarno with the new neon travel designs featured in the campaign. Each piece is a companion for life’s journeys, symbolizing the versatility of Gucci in adapting to diverse lifestyles, smoothly complementing Ni Ni’s and Chang Chen’s casual and chic looks. Embracing the ethos of the modern era, the Valigeria collections effortlessly blend style and functionality, becoming an integral part of the wearer’s daily narrative.

Product Details

The Gucci Savoy collection, which is part of the House’s wider Gucci Valigeria travel selection, is distinguished by a combination of heritage-infused design elements including the GG monogram and/or the Web stripe, offered in both soft and hard-sided iterations. The collection comprises items for every travel need, designed to be used now and for many years to come, as classic and contemporary elements come together within a timeless aesthetic.

Trolleys, ranging in size from cabin-friendly all the way up to a maxi 90cm version, are offered in GG Supreme in beige/brown, beige/blue, and beige/ivory colourways with the green-red-green or blue-red-blue Web stripe and leather trims. The duffle bag selection is also varied, ranging from smaller versions for daily use to larger ones ideal for weekend trips or as carry-ons. Styles come in various colourways, with some featuring distinctive details like leather trims and studs. The line-up also encompasses additional new silhouettes like bowling bags, bowling totes, and box totes. Garment bags, watch cases, and vanity cases round out the soft selection.

Hard-sided items, which further embody Gucci’s origins in artisanal luggage, comprise a series of trunks, suitcases, and hat boxes, as well as beauty, watches, and jewellery cases. Each piece is finely crafted and distinguished by either the House’s GG monogram and/or the equestrian-inspired Web stripe, with several featuring more contemporary details like studs.

Fusing the House’s craftsmanship to its ever-defining quest for innovation, images also showcase novel styles distinguished by fluorescent leather details. Duffles, garment bags and trolleys fuse emblematic codes such as the GG monogram and the Web with neon leather trims, handles, detachable keyholders and ID tags. The campaign also spotlights rubberized leather duffle bags in pink, yellow, blue, and orange, fluorescent nuances.

Rounding up the House’s Valigeria offer is the new Gucci Porter selection of GG monogram and Web-embellished aluminium travel pieces created in collaboration with FPM Milano, including the Italian luxury luggage-maker’s signature Bank trolley.
