Gucci announced the “We Will Always Have London” campaign to present the Gucci Blondie bag and Cruise 2025 collection. Brought to life by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, it stars Debbie Harry
and Kelsey Lu and is captured by Nan Goldin.

Harry and Lu are the protagonists of a story of people, places and moments, an ode to the timeless allure of London, and the House’s deep connection to the city. The latest Gucci campaign speaks new languages of artistry and romance, venturing through various avenues of stylistic expression in a city that is always home to the very best in music, art, and culture. London, coincidentally, is also where the Cruise 2025 collection debuted, further highlighting Gucci’s love for the British capital. Indeed, London was where a young Gucci had his first experience with the international elite over a century ago, the interaction continuing to shape Gucci’s creative journey.

Goldin, the award-winning photographer and filmmaker, has orchestrated a masterpiece here with her documentary-style approach to the campaign, giving the imagery an intimate, rare power. She perfectly transformed Sabato De Sarno’s vision into the visual medium, making it a treat to watch. “We Will Always Have London” follows Harry and Lu through various London landmarks in a cinematic manner that brings out an equally cinematic narrative.

The two female leads, representing different generations, share a deep passion for creativity. Their connection highlights Gucci’s appreciation for both heritage and innovation, encapsulated in the spirit of the Gucci Blondie bag. This timeless icon has been reimagined in the Cruise 2025 collection, making it a standout piece to watch for on our bucket list.
