Breaking molds and owning every frame.

Meet Ameni Esseibi, the trail-blazing Arab curvy model who’s rewriting the rules of fashion with every step she takes. Born in Tunisia and based in Dubai, Ameni is celebrated as one of the first curvy models from the Middle East and North Africa — a voice for body positivity, inclusivity, and authentic beauty in an industry long shaped by narrow standards. She’s walked major runways, represented Arab women at Paris Fashion Week, and continues to push boundaries with her confident, stylish presence.

KHAMSA sat down with her for an open, fun and unfiltered conversation—about the grind, the wins, and the vision behind it all.

Writer, editor, and cultural researcher, I work where archives, sound, fashion, and contemporary social worlds collide. My practice weaves sociology and storytelling to examine how cultural traces resurface, circulate, and press against present identities. I move between writing, curation, and treating archives as living, unruly matter. You can contact me on maram@khamsa5.com
