١. Versace SS25

Donatella Versace’s Spring Summer 2025 collection revisited her Spring 1997 Versus line, celebrating the fun spirit of the ’90s. Set at the beautiful Castello Sforzesco, the show featured bold prints and floral motifs, all reflecting the vibrant energy of that era.

The collection leaned toward a youthful vibe with pastel dresses, denim, and quirky details like perfume bottle heels. Notably, a 3D-printed gold sequin dress modernized the classic Versace silhouette, while the colour palette blended caramel and lavender for a fresh take. Overall, this collection beautifully combines nostalgia with innovation, showcasing the brand’s iconic style in an exciting new way.

٢. Ferragamo SS25

The Ferragamo Spring Summer 2025 collection by artistic director Maximilian Davis brings a modern twist to the brand’s balletic roots, which started in the 1930s. Inspired by historical moments, including a fitting with dancer Katherine Dunham, the collection features second-skin cashmere cotton, flowing coats, and bold colours. Elements like frayed denim added a Caribbean vibe, while raised hemlines bring a bold edge. Accessories include sleek leather handbags and stylish footwear that blend dance influences with modern minimalism.

Overall, Davis honours Ferragamo’s heritage while making it fresh and relevant for today’s fashion scene.

٣. Dolce & Gabbana SS25

Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring Summer 2025 collection pays homage to Madonna and her iconic style, particularly from her 1990 Blonde Ambition tour. Inspired by her bold looks and the designs of Jean Paul Gaultier, the collection features structured elements, bustier corsets, and a chic/sensual style complemented by blonde curly wigs. This tribute celebrates Madonna’s powerful presence and her longstanding relationship with the brand, which spans decades. Titled “Italian Beauty,” the collection showcases pieces that are a unique blend of her wardrobe and a touch of Italian elegance.

٤. Fendi SS25

Fendi’s Spring Summer 2025 collection celebrates the brand’s 100 years with a chic nod to the 1920s, the decade that inspired its founders. Artistic director Kim Jones highlights this important era’s influence on modern fashion by featuring elegant pieces like cocktail dresses, some fringed goodness, silk slips and much more. Additionally, a standout in the collection is a mesh-layer dress embellished with sequins reflecting the iconic Fendi logo. Emphasizing quality throughout, the collection captures Fendi’s rich legacy while celebrating the women behind the powerful fashion house!

٥. ETRO SS25

Etro’s Spring/Summer 2025 show made history as the first to stream live using Apple’s Vision Pro headset, offering an immersive experience for select guests. Inspired by Mediterranean plants, the collection reflected artistic director Marco De Vincenzo’s southern roots with bold colours, abstract floral prints, and sensual silhouettes. Rich fabrics like lace and sheer materials gave the looks a seductive, boho vibe, all set to a powerful live performance by musician Daniela Pes.

٦. Diesel SS25

Diesel chose to highlight their commitment to sustainable fashion, using a staggering 14,800 kg of denim scraps to showcase a masterclass in denim. Elevating denim has been the brand’s forte for a long time, and they did it again in Milan.

The collection showcased highlights like denim micro shorts with extra-long fringing, denim jeans with front seams, and a denim slip dress. It also displayed some experimental sensations like an artisanal coat made fully from denim leftovers, the original Diesel denim transformed into a lasered piece, embossed jeans, and a floor-length monk’s coat.

Accessories included the Play bag with an image of Diesel Bandana, the debuting Play-Double-D bag, and the TRASH-D bag. Footwear featured the likes of the Lake Platform, and the Trompe l’oeil boots, adding a dash of suave to the collection.
