What happens when CHANEL books a room at the Villa d’Este? Pure magic.
For its Cruise 2025/26 collection, the House takes us on an Italian getaway — think Lake Como, endless sun, and the kind of effortless glam only CHANEL can deliver. Set in the iconic Renaissance palace-turned-hotel, this collection is a love letter to summer days, hotel life, and the joy of dressing up just because.

There’s a carefree elegance to every look. Mini flounced ball gowns in peach, pink, and lake-blue feel fresh and flirty. Tweed suits? Still a CHANEL classic, but this time softened with sun-kissed hues — ochre, yellow, orange — borrowed straight from the villa’s walls and gardens.

But it’s not just about lounging. There’s a subtle disco energy here too: multicoloured sequins on a featherlight trouser suit, gold lurex, flared black trousers fully embroidered in shimmer, and a backless lamé jumpsuit in pink and orange that’s pure drama. It’s glamorous, it’s dancefloor-ready, and it feels fun again.

Romantic notes sneak in with cape-trimmed bustiers and voluminous-sleeved blouses paired with crisp white taffeta. Florals bloom across chiffon stripes, embroidered skirts, and delicate suits — inspired by the villa’s famous gardens bursting with magnolias and wisteria.

Of course, no CHANEL cruise without the essentials: sharp white trousers, sailor stripes, breezy knits, strings of pearls, big glam sunglasses, silk foulards, and poolside-perfect minaudières. It’s old Hollywood meets Italian summer in the best possible way.

Filmmaker Sofia Coppola, a longtime CHANEL muse, captures it all through a dreamy teaser starring Ida Heiner as the ultimate vacation muse — lounging, gliding, and glamorously doing nothing at all across marble staircases and lakeside balconies. Time stands still, and that’s exactly the point.
CHANEL Cruise 2025/26 isn’t just a collection. It’s a fantasy. A wardrobe for escaping the ordinary — and looking unforgettable while doing it.
