Among the various models of Arab origin making waves in their line of work is Sherouk Farid. She is an Egyptian model known for her captivating presence in the fashion industry. Born to an Egyptian father and a mother of Greek, Lebanese, and Egyptian descent, she was raised in Alexandria, Egypt.
Pursuing her passion for modelling, Sherouk moved to Cairo to focus on her career full-time, dropping out of college in the process. She collaborated with Adel Essam and Henar Sherif on an artistic shoot back when she was in Egypt. That was her big break, and within no time, she started receiving offers from brands. Standing at 170 cm (5’7″) tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes, Sherouk’s distinctive look has seen her work with renowned brands and designers, participating in fashion shoots, runway shows, and television advertisements. Her work has taken her to various global fashion hubs, including Dubai, Spain, Chile, and Peru.
Sherouk cites Kate Moss, Gigi Hadid and Naomi Campell as her inspirations in her craft. She maintains an active social media presence on Instagram, where she shares updates on her modelling projects and advocates for causes she supports. Her work with international brands like Louis Vuitton and local brands like MIOJ makes her a versatile figure in the industry.
