Inspired by the carefree spirit of a Bohemian summer, the collection embodies effortless femininity through ethereal gowns and airy mini-dresses. True to Skourti’s style, the collection seamlessly blends gentle, flowing fabrics with embellishments that stand out.
The collection pays homage to the nineties’ era, featuring individual pieces that incorporate the brand’s distinctive asymmetric necklines and back-less designs. Embracing gradient embroidery as a central theme, each item in the collection is transformed into a work of art, adding layers of dimension, dynamism, and a feeling of graceful flow. However, Skourti’s design philosophy revolves around exploring contrasts; the SS24 collection demonstrates this by blending conventional feminine elements with utilitarian styling and structured tailoring seamlessly.
“I really challenged myself with this collection, exploring new shapes and silhouettes with the intention to capture lightness and ease, no corsetry. I tried to make dresses that feel as great on the skin as they look. I played a lot with lace, creating a beautiful dance between a large palette of colours from fresh pastels; vanilla yellow and aqua green; to bright accents of periwinkle and cherry. The romanticism of lace is offset by tailored pieces and punctuated with silver hardware. I’m thrilled to share with you all of my interpretation of a fresh modern Bohemian feminine summer.”
