Mooshtari Hilal – Hässlichkeit (Ugliness)
This is the highly anticipated debut book from Afghani-German artist and researcher Mooshtari Hilal. The aptly named book is a discourse on the intersection of aesthetics and politics and deep dive into what we consider ugliness. Looking forward to the English translation.
Dries Van Noten – Leather Boots
Winter is upon us, and a black heeled boot is a wardrobe staple. This pair from Dries Van Noten is among my favorites.
Telfar – Large Shopper
Telfar are restocking their sought-out bags in beautiful fall colours. My pick is this dark chocolate large shopper that will be so useful for travels.
By Limala Rugs – Azilal Rug
My favorite carpet store in Berlin is By Limala, run by a Moroccan couple. Their work is an ode to North African craftmanship. This colourful, fluffy rug could be a great addition to my flat.
