Everyone knew Hermès would turn up for the Paris Fashion Week, but no one was prepared for how bright they would shine. The French capital was host to the brand unveiling a collection that was as versatile as it was brilliant. It was a collection that anyone could relate to and love in its entirety, thanks to a diverse line-up of outfits and accessories that catered to one and all.
Themes & Motifs of the Hermès Women’s SS25 Collection

The Hermès Women’s SS25 Collection presented a beautiful mix of sex appeal and refined luxury, designed with practical elegance in mind. Set against the backdrop of the Garde Républicaine, the show unfolded like an artful maze, featuring canvas screens of wood that created intimate spaces. The carpets, painted in a lively shade of rose bougainvillea, captured the essence of the season.
Guided by the creative vision of Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, Hermès affirmed its position in ready-to-wear fashion. This season introduced a luxe utility collection aimed at their dedicated fanbase, while also offering fresh surprises for the younger generation—key contributors to their growth. Key pieces included high-waisted Hermès denim and a playful combination of sheer and opaque layers, reflecting the brand’s dedication to innovation while respecting its rich heritage

The collection bordered on the edge of conservative, but it appealed with sheer versatility. For example, there was a silk mesh tube skirt that sported zippers, and one could wear it in modest or cheeky fashion. The pants, tanks, and tunics in earth colours were traditional in terms of their hues, but with the zips, they could suit a variety of body types in any style.
More fabulous looks followed, with the likes of jumpsuits, polos, anoraks, and pleated pants all featuring zips, buckles, and pockets. None of it felt overexposed or out of place, showcasing Hermès’ understanding of the meta and when not to overcomplicate a winning formula. For fans of practicality, they were treated to a bisque-coloured calfskin coat that tripled up as a vest, jacket and coat at the same time. Bra tops and underwear were also given their due props.

A nod to the more inclusive lineup of models this season, which distinguished the House from many other brands this fashion Month. This choice conveyed a powerful message to the world: Hermès is at the forefront of modernity.
