The Dior show will narrate the story of their J’Adore line
Dior is organizing a grand exhibition to reveal the story of J’Adore, a fragrance line with rich history and pedigree. It will be held at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris, from September 27 to October 8.

The brand will highlight everything from Christian Dior’s original love of flowers to L’Or de J’adore, the latest olfactory composition by Francis Kurkdjian. They look to welcome numerous celebrities and friends of the house, like Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, Blackpink’s Jisoo, Jenna Ortega, Joseph Quinn, Anya Taylor-Joy, Rachel Zegler, Dilraba Dilmurat, Elisabeth Debicki, Elle Macpherson, Emma Raducanu, Thuso Mbedu, Caroline Issa, Ava Wang, Yuko Araki, and Nicole Wallace.
J’Adore is a celebration of flowers and floral creations, with the fragrance bathed in a noble bouquet of jasmine sambac and damascena rose. The display will feature the limited-edition bottle designed by Jean-Michel Othoniel, its digital vision by Refik Anadol, an X-ray of J’Adore by Katerina Jebb, Fred Eerdekens’ expressions stitched in flowing golden thread, and Yuriko Takagi’s photographs of the perfume and its various variants.

The company is proud of its illustrious fragrance, which boasts a lifespan of decades. Its campaigns have entered the realm of cultural reference, whether it was Carmen Kass immersed in her bath of molten gold like a postmodern Cleopatra, or Charlize Theron shedding her clothes and jewels, keeping only the fragrance that caresses her skin. The emblematic dresses worn in said campaigns pay homage to these timeless allegories of sensuality, giving a special nod to Jean-Baptiste Mondino’s popular advertising films.
J’Adore is an agile creation and a fragrance that symbolizes change and transformation. As such, it has only attracted the finest forms of artistic expression. The exhibition at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris will thus be a fitting tribute to it, taking everyone in attendance through a journey of aromatic discovery.
