The Landmark Exhibition Arrives in Shanghai

After the acclaimed debut in Venice in 2024, Buccellati unveils a new chapter of The Prince of Goldsmiths: Rediscovering the Classics in Shanghai. From 7 December 2025 to 5 January 2026, the Shanghai Exhibition Center transforms into an immersive celebration of the Maison’s artistic legacy, craftsmanship, and timeless design.

Taking its title from the name Gabriele D’Annunzio bestowed upon Mario Buccellati in 1936, the exhibition revisits the Maison’s heritage through an expanded retrospective featuring 250 creations—a rare gathering of jewels and silver masterpieces that illuminate over a century of savoir-faire.

A decade after Buccellati’s arrival in Mainland China, this new edition reflects the deep dialogue between the Maison and a market known for its appreciation of beauty, refinement, and cultural history. Under the curatorship of Alba Cappellieri and the creative direction of Balich Wonder Studio, the exhibition stages a fluid encounter between classical architecture, multimedia language, and contemporary vision—revealing how Buccellati’s techniques have been reinterpreted across four generations.

Visitors will journey through themed spaces exploring family heritage, artistic inspirations, natural motifs, and the virtuosity of Italian craftsmanship, culminating in a gallery of the Maison’s most iconic works from past to present.
The Prince of Goldsmiths in Shanghai celebrates Buccellati not only as a guardian of tradition, but as a living atelier where imagination, precision, and classical beauty continue to evolve—shaping the aesthetics of today while honoring the art of yesterday.
