Alaïa has a long history of combining fashion and hospitality. From the beginning, Azzedine Alaïa loved bringing friends together for meals. This tradition is now carried on and reimagined by Pieter Mulier, who shares Alaïa’s love for friendly gatherings.
Alaïa is excited to present its second collaboration with We Are Ona, called “La Table Alaïa,” which blends fashion, food, and hospitality. This series of small dinners, starting with an event at the Alaïa store in Paris, will take place in different cities.
Each dinner will have a special host who teams up with a famous chef to create a unique menu. The combination of the host’s tastes and the chef’s ideas is the heart of this series, which will continue to travel worldwide.
On October 15, Chef Jules de Saint Cyr and Alaïa’s Creative Director, Pieter Mulier, will host the first Paris dinner for “La Table Alaïa.” This private evening will bring together friends of Alaïa from different walks of life, celebrating the spirit of connection and conversation that defines the Maison.
After the private dinner, the event will be open to the public on October 16 and 17, allowing 30 guests each night to join. The dinners will feature custom furniture and tableware, making each experience special and reflecting Alaïa’s style and welcoming spirit, which has always been about openness.
