If you’ve ever wished you could stay in a luxurious suite in one of your favourite films, now you can – because most of these places exist in real life. While you may see fake hotel sets on TV and in movies, there are plenty you can actually experience. They are all as luxurious as they appear, so if they appeal to you, it’s worth booking a night or two.
١. Juvet Landscape Hotel, Norway | Succession
Is it your dream to live like the Roys? (Aesthetically, without the drama) This secluded luxury hotel is the place to be. It is already booked until mid-September, so maybe catch it during the winter holidays?
Oh, and while we’re here, Ex-Machina was set there too.
٢. San Domenico Palace, Sicily | The White Lotus
The White Lotus’ second series was filmed at this historical Four Seasons hotel. It was founded in 1203 by a religious order and became a hotel in the late 1800s to accommodate European travellers on their Grand Tours. After the 1950s, it attracted stars like Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, and Audrey Hepburn.

An Acropolis-inspired hideaway on the Peloponnese coast provided the perfect setting for Rian Johnson’s modern murder mystery Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. With nine bedrooms, a beach hut, a private gym, six pools, five kitchens and your own taverna, Villa 20 offers it all.

This historic luxury hotel overlooking Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan served as Meryl Streep’s faux-Parisian residence in The Devil Wears Prada (the Grand Suite), and was also featured in Gossip Girl and Sex and the City.
٥. Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris | Emily in Paris
In season one, Emily meets actress Brooklyn Clark at the Plaza Athénée for a business meeting. For years, tourists have dreamed of visiting this Parisian establishment, located on the legendary Avenue Montaigne.
