Soak in the sun without catching the heat.

Dubai, or the UAE in general, is known for its growing cafe culture. And what’s a better way to enjoy summer than sitting in a sun-soaked ambience with the AC on? Even when the heat seems relentless, there’s always a solution.

Here’s a list of our favourite cafes with carefully designed windows and interiors and a menu to match their excellence.

١. PAUS; Cafe + Community

If you’d like a community space to relax and perhaps even try out a few wellness classes, look no further than PAUS. To view all there wellness classes that they offer, visit

٢. ORTO Cafe

While it may be the sunniest cafe on this list, it can get chilly, so bring a jacket. We also suggest trying out their tiramisu and matcha latte – they’re one of the best in town.

٣. Backyard Cafe

If you’re into an Emma Chamberlain type of vibe, you will adore this space. It’s not only visually welcoming, but the menu is wonderful, too – their lemon chicken sandwich is the best, in our humble opinion.

٤. Nette Cafe at Matcha Club

You might hesitate to play paddle under 50 celsius weather, but that shouldn’t stop you from visiting this serenity cafe at the Matcha Club. It’s a great spot for remote work.

٥. Heal Cafe

The cafe is perfect for personal hangouts and business meetings – even on a crowded day. Oh, and the food is delicious and light (beetroot radish and labneh for the win).
