Miu Miu has teamed up with Oscar-winning designer Catherine Martin for a new chapter of its Upcycled collection, launching on June 21. The project reimagines vintage garments sourced from around the world, carefully restoring and transforming them by hand. Mixing masculine and feminine styles, old fabrics are turned into fresh, modern pieces—from nautical denim looks to delicate lingerie-inspired dresses and silk scarf outfits. Inspired by 1920s photography, the collection celebrates everyday beauty with a nostalgic touch. It continues Miu Miu’s commitment to circular fashion, following past upcycled releases with Levi’s, vintage leather, and denim. Each item comes with a label detailing its origin and is available at the brand’s New Bond Street boutique and select stores worldwide.

Dubai-based luxury sleepwear brand One of a Kin, founded by entrepreneur Nayla Haddad, has secured an investment from Vivium, the family office of Elie Khouri. The deal, which began during Nayla’s pitch on Shark Tank Dubai Season 2, marks a new partnership aimed at helping the brand grow and expand across the region. Known for its soft, sustainable sleepwear made from TENCEL™ fibres, One of a Kin has seen strong momentum since its TV debut, tripling its revenue and beating internal growth targets. With this new backing, the brand is set to reach more customers and strengthen its presence in conscious luxury.

Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Christopher Walken, the campaign features cinematic black-and-white portraits and two short films that explore the contrast between youthful passion and the calm confidence of age. Inspired by vintage Saint Laurent imagery and the work of 1980s photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, the visuals blend sensuality, elegance, and emotion. adidas has launched the F50 SPARKFUSION, a new football boot designed specifically for women players based on the biggest study of female foot anatomy in football. Tested by top athletes like Trinity Rodman, Linda Caicedo, and Jule Brand, the boot helped them move faster and change direction more quickly compared to unisex models. The F50 SPARKFUSION comes in three styles—midcut, lowcut laced, and laceless—and features a special fit for narrower heels, higher arches, and more midfoot volume. Ulta Beauty, the largest speciality beauty retailer in the US, is officially entering the Middle East, with its first UAE store opening at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai by the end of the year. The launch is part of a franchise deal with Alshaya Group and follows an earlier announcement that the brand will first open in The Avenues, Kuwait. More stores across the GCC are planned for 2026. Known for carrying over 25,000 products from both affordable and luxury brands like e.l.f., Chanel, and Dior, Ulta Beauty combines a wide range of makeup, skincare, haircare, and salon services under one roof. ١.. Bvlgari to open ultra-luxury resort and mansions on private island in Abu Dhabi by 2030

Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open a new luxury destination in Abu Dhabi by 2030. Set on a private, horseshoe-shaped island with views of the open sea, Qasr Al Watan, and the city skyline, the Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi will feature 60 rooms and suites, 30 private villas with pools, and 90 high-end mansions. The project is a collaboration with Eagle Hills, led by Mohamed Alabbar, and is designed by Milan-based ACPV ARCHITECTS. Guests can expect signature Bvlgari experiences, including fine dining by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito, the Japanese restaurant Hōseki, a luxury spa, beach clubs, and a private yacht marina. Inspired by both Italian design and Arabian culture, the project will combine elegance, nature, and sustainability, aiming to become one of the region’s most exclusive luxury retreats.

١١. New Covent Garden opens at Mall of the Emirates with theatre, dance studios, and star-led shows

A new entertainment venue has opened at Mall of the Emirates, bringing world-class performances and creative spaces to Dubai. Called New Covent Garden, the space features a 575-seat theatre, ten dance and rehearsal studios, and a restaurant. The venue will host everything from West End musicals and Arabic plays to ballet, opera, comedy, and concerts. Founded by pop star Lisa Scott-Lee and choreographer Johnny Shentall-Lee, it also marks the first international branch of the famous Pineapple Dance Studios from London. Open to all ages and skill levels, New Covent Garden aims to support both local and international talent in the performing arts.
