Travel Guide : Abu Dhabi By Myriam Aldhaheri

Raised in Abu Dhabi yet shaped by the museums of France, Myriam AlDhaheri grew up moving effortlessly between two worlds. Her grandmother Hélène, an inquisitive traveler and art devotee—was the one who first taught her to look closely, to read stories in objects, and to carry curiosity as a way of life.

That early sensibility naturally led Myriam toward art and heritage. After studying communication and art history in Abu Dhabi, she joined Louvre Abu Dhabi, where she has spent nearly a decade contributing to landmark exhibitions and dialogues between cultures. Beyond the museum, her passion for archaeology has taken her across the UAE’s landscapes—from the old villages of Al Ain to the shores of Marawah Island deepening her connection to the histories that shape her home.

Today, Myriam embodies a perspective rooted in both memory and discovery: a gaze shaped by family, tradition, and the quiet beauty of the Emirates. And as Abu Dhabi prepares for the energy and spectacle of its Formula 1 Grand Prix, her city stands at a moment where heritage and modern vibrancy meet.

And now, only on KHAMSA Myriam invites us to experience Abu Dhabi through her own journey, guiding us into the corners, stories, and atmospheres that reveal the soul of her city.
