١. Christian Dior announces ‘Designer of Dreams Exhibition’ in Saudi Arabia

From November 21, 2024, to April 2, 2025, on the occasion of the Riyadh Season project 2024, Christian Dior will host the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition. Following the critical acclaim it received at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, it is set to take over at the Saudi National Museum.
This fabulous retrospective, conceived by curator Florence Müller and scenographer Nathalie Crinière, highlights over seventy years of virtuosity, punctuated by marvellous discoveries. This is an invitation to celebrate exceptional creative dialogues and Dior’s unique heritage through the prism of art, passion and couture.
٢. Casa Amor debuts at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira
Casa Amor is set to open its doors on October 8 at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai. Renowned as one of the French Riviera’s most exclusive destinations, it is a unique beach experience that comes with divine cuisine. ٣. CHANEL renews its commitment to the Grand Palais

CHANEL is delighted to renew its commitment to the Grand Palais for a further five years, serving as patron of the Grand Palais’ cultural and artistic programme through its endowment fund. In doing so, the House assumes the role of Major Patron of the Grand Palais.

٤. NBA and DCT Abu Dhabi announce line-up for NBA Fan Appreciation Day in Abu Dhabi
The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) announces the lineup of NBA and WNBA legends and celebrities who are set to headline “NBA Fan Appreciation Day in Abu Dhabi.” Taking place on on Saturday, October 5 at Etihad Arena and “NBA District” from October 3 – October 6 at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
The fan events will be held in sync with the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024, which will feature the recent NBA champions in the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets. They will be playing preseason games on Friday, October 4, and Sunday, October 6 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. The NBA and WNBA legends who will attend the fan events are Muggsy Bogues, Marcus Camby, Derek Fisher, Sylvia Fowles, Kevin Garnett, Shaquille O’Neal and Mitch Richmond.

٥. Roxie Nafousi set to host live show in Dubai

Renowned self-development coach, inspirational speaker, and manifesting expert, Roxie Nafousi, has announced an additional show for her highly anticipated MANIFEST: The Live Show in Dubai. ٦. Circoloco at The Great Pyramids of Giza set to dazzle the night
‘Circoloco By The Great Pyramids Of Giza’ is set to take place at the namesake location on November 15, 2024. It will kick off at 6:00 pm and wrap up at 3:00 am, allowing guests to fully take in the beauty of the Pyramids at night.
This will be an outdoor event with no scope of indoor seating. Tickets are nominative and physical ID/passports checks will be conducted at the entrance to verify identity. It is only open to those aged 21 and above.

٧. Sevil Dolmaci Gallery presents its group “Playground” exhibition in Dubai

Featuring a diverse collection of paintings, “Playground” showcases the works of artists Cody Choi, Beverly Fishman, Pınar Birim, Bosco Sodi, Ekrem Yalçındağ, Melisa Mızraklı, Gençay Aytekin, Tuna Özkaragöz, Cem Gönül, Sinan Saül, and Rafael Gomez Barros. ٨. Dubai Airports to grow its solar footprint to cut its carbon footprint

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, and His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai Airports announced a landmark collaboration with Etihad Clean Energy Development Company. This sees the launch of the world’s largest rooftop solar panel installation project at an airport.
Dubai Airports and Etihad Energy Services Company formalised an agreement during the prestigious World Green Economy Summit organised by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and the World Green Economy Organization. This was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on October 2 and was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid
Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
٩. Sole DXB announces limited presale tickets and additions for 2024 festival
Sole DXB, the most anticipated contemporary culture festival in the region, announced the launch of presale tickets for the 2024 edition, which will take place from December 13-15 at Dubai Design District (d3).
This year’s Sole DXB promises to be immersive and push boundaries, guaranteeing new additions in the realms of music, fashion, art, culture and food. It takes place the same year as the monumental 30th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) this year, set to be the greatest, most memorable, and out-of-this-world celebration in the festival’s history.

١٠. Christie’s set to become first global auction house to operate in Saudi Arabia

Christie’s announced that they would be arriving in the Middle East, revealing that they have been granted a commercial license to operate in Saudi Arabia. In doing so, they will become the first international auction house to establish a permanent presence in the Kingdom.
According to a source associated with the brand, Christie’s Saudi Arabia is yet to have an opening date, but will open “as soon as possible.” They will host and promote exhibitions and support regional events in KSA.
